Please wait..

I am such a bad user of waiting rooms, while it is true that most anyone hates them, I find myself at a total loss on how to correctly use them. The main problem is that I'm a starer..I stare at stuff, if something takes my interest, I become lost & stare.

Well that's new.

No more of the old "just a drop of blood from your finger love", now its a full blood sample from your arm. Oh well, used to them by now.

Where have you been?

Its been so long since I've been to a clinic appointment that all the normal nurses I knew have left..while I liked them this is still a bonus as they can't shout at me. Either that or its just not their shift.

Slow going

Lots of things to do today, not many of them I actually want to but have to; for example, going to my diabetes clinic appointment around 6ish, not looking forward to it as I've put a bit of weight on, and it's been over a year since the last appointment I actually went to, so expect lots of bitching and whining about it, granted for a good reason, but just don't feel up to the onslaught of arguing with NHS workers. ;)

For those who didn't know, or notice, I was using 1stvamp.com from my PowerBook yesterday, while 'hackworth` was down, with a slightly revised version of the blog template I used last year on 1stvamp.com; I'm considering using this for 1stvamp.org's new layout.

Any thoughts?

Bad Apples

Was out of the house with my PowerBook this morning, at a certified Apple engineer, to see about getting the damage to the casing fixed (after an accident some months ago with my dog, Benjy), hence the downtime to 1stvamp.com; but as you can see, my host seem to have unfrozen my account (long story involving my Visa getting maxed out after paying fees for the lawns off from last year).

The bad news is that I might have to exchange my PowerBook for a new one (although unfortunately probably not a new model, hehe), and even if I don't (this is all based on if the case/components is/are made in Taiwan or China) I'll still have to pay out ~£150 - £160.

Bad news indeed, but I'm unsure as to whether or not I'll be getting it fixed up any time soon (although I do very much wish to do so).
