Blockbuster have passed my ~£7 late fee onto a debt collector, who are now threatening to take me to court over the fee if I don't pay up within the week (I'll be phoning them up with my Switch card in hand tomorrow morning).
Choices on the other hand have overtly ignored 2 ~£20 late fee's over the past 2 years, under the explicit understanding that I can't actually rent anything else from them until I've paid the fee off.
Guess which of the two establishments have earned my customer loyalty?
In fact, the only reason I have ever gone to Blockbuster is because of their store's close proximity to my house (about a 5-10 minute walk down the road), while a trip to Choices takes me 10-20 minutes on bus; if it wasn't for this annoying fact, I would not only always rent from Choices, but more than likely I wouldn't actually have such large fine's with them, as I'd be more willing to actually take titles back; they even have a better store, with a larger range in stock, and better prices.
Blockbuster have all but pushed me away from paying for their services; if I continue to rent DVD's/games from anywhere, I shall indeed consider taking journeying on bus more frequently.
