Well, not all of them, they (or should I say we) are human like the rest, and the media representation of gamers within the last few years has gotten worse and worse; the linked post by Wil Wheaton (yes, of Star Trek TNG fame, I read his weblog regularly) surmises the tumultuous point at which the Media have sunk to their lowest, covering Penny Arcade's marvellous attempts to turn around media gamer representation while at the same time doing a bit of good in our increasingly crappy world.
