Goddamnit

More clashes with OS X, after an update and reboot, it stopped recognizing the majority of my user details; another reinstall later, updating again, varies apps still don't work; just hoping I'll be able to sort it out, or my system's buggered and I'll ringing Apple up after all.

All better

OS X successfully reinstalled its kernel and application base, just repatching everything, and then I'll be re-organizing the /Applications structure to suit how I like it.

One upshot of having to reinstall is the fact that my once broken Internet Connect.app is now back to it's old glory, and I should now be able to setup a GPRS 'net connection via Bluetooth via my Nokia 7650 (what a lot of via's).

So far very impressed with the way OS X has handled it all, everything's there just as I left it, with the exception of what it's just reinstalled (and that's auto-updating as I type).

Life just gets better

Well isn't this just bloody typical?

Came down this morning to find some off the apps on my PowerBook wouldn't respond or shutdown properly, then it wouldn't boot. Just waiting for the kernel to reinstall now, if that doesn't fix it I'll be phoning Apple.
