Andrea bought me O'Reilly's Mastering Regular Expressions off my Amazon wishlist, is there any wonder why I love that girl?
It's already helped me improve some of the parsing in my blogroll, so I could upload my latest list of the feeds I'm subscribed to (the older regex's weren't parsing the OPML, outputted by NetNewsWire, correctly).
Consequently I now consume 185 news feeds, and sometimes fall into the information overload trap, but I'm doing fairly well after some well placed enforcing of rules I have when it comes to consuming news (e.g. cutting down on multiple copies of news, reading summaries etc.)
If anyone's been trying to get in touch with me via e-mail, you probably won't get a reply for a while (unless you e-maileed my uni webmail account) as my ISP's POP3 and SMTP servers have been FUBAR for 3 days now; I really should just setup a stable mailbox on 'hackworth` and have my old mail forwarded there, especially with all the problems evidenced recently.
