You dare!

This now makes the 3^rd^ time in as many days that I've watched Daredevil; so Darren can watch it as well, since he's only seen it in crappy pirated form.

Argue it in step

Had an arguement with my father earlier, it sucked; I've long given up ranting about my fathers attempts at ranting, but I thought I'd mention it here since it left me feeling so shite; I'm just glad I still managed to manipulate my father into regretting his every action and feeling guilty; you may believe it harsh, but I don't regret it myself after the way he left me feeling.

HTML Utopia? Not with this crap!

This article at SitePoint promises HTML Utopia, and purports to teach designing tableless websites using CSS; utter bollocks.

The design methodology is there, but the content isn't; why?

The author of the article starts off using some nice techniques, teaching the CSS box model, but his crescendo is way off, finishing with the use of pixel perfect positioning to create multiple columned site designs; my spleen just about ruptured when I read this; has this guy never heard of 'float`?

Pixel perfectly positioned designs just need to die, we might as well go back to using tables if we're going to live in this shitty past; positions which stay the same across different resolutions, and on different formats just completely break; don't give up your day job, oh wait, this is your day job! Well, we're screwed!

My laptop's status during the thunderstorm:

Web server OK, surge protected power supply, constantly connected ADSL with surge protection, 4 hours of backup battery power.

And I thought the storm was great!
