This is a quote that cracked me up, nicked from #dualboot on irc.dualboot.net: "War is God's way of teaching Americans about geography."

I've been using Trillian Pro (yes, that's right, I payed the $25USD for an IM program) for a couple of days now, and I must say it rules. MetaContacts was nearly worth the purchase on its own. Besides that its highly stable, barely any bugs, has all the features I want and more, and its memory footprint has actually decreased.
The same goes for the Klient 2.0.3 beta, which I also purchased (shh, I won't mentioned the credit card bill this month if you don't), and it also most verilly rocks.
One thing I love in Trillian Pro are the new plug-ins available, I now have Trillian set up to tell me when mail arrives in my POP3 account (no hotmail accounts served at this bar, thank you, move along), load the latest items from various news sites I visit via their RSS streams, and I'm hoping they release a version of their Winamp plug-in for Winamp3 so that it'll even report the MP3 that's playing. Now that's functionality.
I bow before Cerulean Studios (Trillian Pro) and Tom McArthur (Klient), for I am not worthy.
