Late days

I've had an interestingly..erm, how do I put it?

Late day; yes, I believe late describes today.

  • I got out of bed late, after accidentally setting my alarm to PM instead of AM; I was severely chastised by both Andrea and my father for that one.

  • I decided to do some work, both uni related, and house related, while I was at home for the morning, and then went round Andrea's for a short amount of time before lunch.

  • Because of my own faffing about when leaving Andrea's, I managed to get to uni 10 minutes late for my afternoon lecture..and then it turned out there was no point going anyway.

  • Hopped straight on a bus back to turn, did some rather productive shopping for Christmas presents, and a throw for the settee in the lounge; and managed to meet Andrea and her mum on time, but considering it was a surprise anyway there was no time to make so that hardly counts.

  • After getting home I spent about ~2 hours installing and configuring Windows XP for my new PC in my bedroom (mainly for gaming, and some Windows-only uni work). I consider this thuroughly late in all respects just because it took so freaking long!

But from all the bad, there's been a lot of good all in all, still working on setting up my 2 PC's for use in the lounge and my bedroom; hopefully once I've got the computers setup and out the way, and all spares put away, I can properly tidy the house up in preparation for the coming Christmas season and all the complications it brings (and more importantly before the oncoming coursework and exam season that always threatens to put a kink in even the best laid plans).

Oh well, back to trying to fill out the DVLA forms, of which I've already discovered a rather odd grammatical typo requiring that an applicant both have and not have a medical condition (if only I could not have diabetes at the same time, if only), a logical error that almost seems like it should have been made by a programmer.
