Bye Bye Superman

Christopher Reeve died at age 52 on Sunday, after 9 years of paralysis; he had suffered a cardiac arrest and slipped into a coma at his home in New York, and passed away.

Sure, this post's title is sucky and unimaginative, but it's something that fits his personality beyond his so-so performance in a so-so comic book big screen adaptation; he lived, even after something that would have made me give up living, and that's something special.

Reeve's wife Dana said in a statement: "On behalf of my entire family, I want to thank Northern Westchester Hospital for the excellent care they provided to my husband.

"I also want to thank his personal staff of nurses and aides, as well as the millions of fans from around the world who have supported and loved my husband over the years."

Land of the Free home of exclusion..

Third-party (Libertarian and Green) presidential candidates arrested attempting to gain access to presidential debate; Michael Badnarik (the Green Party candidate) had an "Order to Show" clause in his pocket which he intended to hand over.

So let's get this right, these men are part of the democratic process, and are actual presidential candidates, yet not only are they excluded from a presidential debate because they're not members of one of the two main political parties, but they are then arrested for protesting this exclusion?

Grow up America, grow up.
