Computer Society Social
I just got back from the ComSoc "New Blood" social, I think most people went onto Getaway elsewhere in the union, but I'm not a big fan of clubs, and my back and throat feel like utter shite as it is anyway.
Was a good night, met lots of new faces (mainly freshers), and old'uns as well; was hoping to slip over to hackHull? during the night, but unfortunately spent so much time ping-ponging from one drawn-out conversation to the next that it was too late really to be bother by the time I'd noticed.
Damian also went, being both a member of the society (via me mainly, I also signed up Andrea as well, mainly for the free CD's) and also attending Getaway later on with some fellow psychology students and friends..he didn't believe me when I said geeks can be some of the most sociable people going when given the chance to gather and talk about random stuff, but he ended up having quite a bit of fun (not to mention pining over some people he fancied).
