Considering redesign

I think the design of this site is beginning to age a little, it was never meant to be a long term thing anyway, something I pretty much knocked together in 10 minutes to throw a weblog on, sometime back in 2001; the main problem is that it has a very unprofessional feel to it, which is something I'm starting to think about for leaving university in a few years; a website represents who you are on the web, and while it is true I have a few different facets to my web-based self, this site is the main window into who I am, and while I'm definitely not going to change any of the views I put on display here (that would just be lying to myself, and everyone else), I do think the look of the place could do with a make-over to reflect that I'm not the 16 year old who once thought "think I'll rant on a website today" (okay, okay, I still think that most mornings, but now I do it after checking my to-do list and calendar).

I'm currently thinking of adapting the design I created for my temporary 1stvamp.com weblog, back when I was looking for a dedicated server because my hosting got hosed.

Any thoughts?

Anyone?

Need to step it up

Really need to finish off, and also change a few things, the 1v Systems Design website, I still like the clean design, although some of the text spacing is a little off on the navigation box, and some information on the site itself needs updating; hopefully will also finish the portfolio, and put a C.V. up.

Speaking of work-related items, I'll be starting work for my father this week, doing his book-keeping for him to catch up with the shop's finances, which have unfortunately fallen behind and even incurred some fees from our friendly neighbourhood tax-person.

Laeiiiffff?

Did you know life insurance is linked to your home?

I bloody well didn't.

Oh look, concorde!

Zoooooooooooom..
