One of life's little hiccups
My thoughts are with Darren's father tonight, whom has been taken to hospital with less than hope-instilling symptoms, to Darren and his family I have faith that you will struggle through.

Need to update my sidebar at some point, like add the events I'll be going to this year, and maybe recode a link uploader script to work with Safari so my links history works again.
Blame Ca-Na-Daaa..err..I mean uni
I'm planning on going to the TOEvolt Evolt.org con in August, way over in Toronto, Canada; however, there might be a slight problem, if in fact I've failed my Computer Systems exam at uni like I think I have, exam resits may be held in late August, round about the same time I planned on heading off to TOEvolt; with any luck I've either passed (bugger all chance of that happening, but I'll find out a week on Monday anyway), or the resit will be held before I go (nice break afterwards would be handy).
Also, the webcomics con I and the rest of DWAJ, are exhibiting at in March, have been looking for someone to teach a computer workshop on the various tasks involved in creating and publishing comics via the web, and I've been shortlisted for the job, if I'm picked it should be interesting, I've been thinking about the presentation I'd give and some material for it, might just be able to make something that's fun/entertaining, as well as educational (yes, I have a few special things planned for the talk already).
