G4 iBook/PowerBook shortcomings

While the majority of the items, on Dean Allen's list of iBook hardware problems, don't bother me (and in some cases are quite the opposite), I do most certainly agree with the sleep when screen is closed problem. This is a great feature of the PowerBook, but I'd like to switch it off when I'd like to close the screen and keep my network connection at times (using it as a stereo doesn't really bother me at the moment as the sound output lead on my amp/sub/speakers won't reach the sound output jack on the left side of my PowerBook, so I just play off my iPod instead).

On the subject of my network access at the moment, in tandem with my new DSL router, I've just bought and setup a 802.11g wireless router, so I have net access from anywhere in the house. Why would I want this you might ask? Mainly so I can use it in my bedroom, and so anyone else can get easy net access in the house (as long as I want them to that is).
