Sniff, sniff
Getting closer and closer to moving out, my sinuses are being total bastiches, and I have way too much ironing to do in morning..par for the course more than likely.
Got a busy day ahead, as well as ironing my clothes to take with me, also need to hover and tidy up the house ('tis a big house remember), transfer a CD-ROM drive from one computer to another and setup Windows on the second (and my DSL connection onto it for my father to use), finish packing (well, 98%, since a few things need to stay out for the night before packing Sunday morning), coordinate the removal of piles of other peoples stuff from the house by my friends, and later on get off to town to buy a new USB wireless networking dongle, followed by meeting Andrea after work to get dinner, then back here for the night; going to need more caffeine.
Underworld Soundtrack
Underworld is a Vampire/Werewolf film I'm very much looking forward to seeing this month, in anticipation of it I ordered the soundtrack off a very nice Canadian woman in the great crap-pile™, which arrived this morning; there are some good tunes on the CD, but unlike some have said I wouldn't say it's a who's-who of dark rock, some of the tunes are a little too on the mellow side for that, but still good nonetheless.
As for the whole Whitewolf Vs. Sony over Underworld thang, I'll let Damian take the mic.
Tech: DHTML GUI Platforms
Just been having a play with Bindows; it's a very nice GUI system, but it loses lots of points by the fact it only runs under Internet Explorer, a giant no-no in my books; for anyone looking for a more well rounded DHTML GUI platform, I'd take a look at TicaTK, which runs in Internet Explorer, Mozilla and Opera (as I've tested so far), and includes a back end tie-in to PHP (if required), a very powerful system when used correctly and much more open.
