Weekend wheeler
Finally, free time, and a 3 day weekend..woohoo!
Spent lots of time with Andrea, so as always a great bonus; work's been hard, but at the same time simple enough (hard going due to amounts and lengthy days, but simple in their complexity); my only real comment for today is that work have gotten in some right cowboys to handle their new server, who in my opinion wouldn't know a firewall or IDS, let alone how to properly set up a broadband-connected server and subsequent network, if one bit them on the rackmount!
That's all for now, need sleep.
Broadband bugger-ups
Lost most use of my connection last night when my ADSL accounts DNS servers decided to go walkies. To make it even worse, work have just had a 2.5MBit line put in today. Lucky bastards.
