Taken from an IM chat with Joff:

`[19:49:13] 1st Vamp:

sigh I've started getting german spam, my filter has a hard time catching it as it doesn't have other spam to compare it to.

[19:49:59] ~Nice guys finish last.... with aches, pains and broken bones~:

BOLMAO Nice...... see... if they'd have tried this during the war, they may have won

[19:51:41] 1st Vamp:

That would've been a nice discovery for Alan Turing and the codebreakers at Blechley park..

"Sir, we've finally broken the Enigma encryption!"

"What does it say, where's the krouts next attack?"

"Hmm..let me see...'FREE VIAGRA...POUND THAT SLUT WITH A BIGGER WEINER SCHNITZEL!'

....mein gott...we've been luncheon meated!"`

BBC still slipping

The BBC's journalistic integrity has been slipping into the gutters for some years now.

Today's example is to do with a technology piece (link below) about the new Apple Mac G5's and benchmarking. The journalist, as well as the researcher he references, of the piece, are both seriously out of date, missing this weeks vital NASA G5 benchmarks and tests, as well Apple's own hardware VP Greg Joswiak's response. There are also plenty of more even benchmarks available which should have been referenced by the BBC's article.

Lousy journalism, at best.

Attack of the killer pleh's

I feel pleh.

My cold of the past 3 days appears to be attempting a hostile coup on home territory, it won't win, but it's still a bugger to have to put up with another day of crappiness after feeling so well yesterday.

Blair furious

Tony Blair says the claim No 10 "sexed up" the Iraq weapons dossier is a "serious attack" on his integrity.

Well d'uh ya great big lying bastard!

Pika?

I've seen so many of them tonight that Japanese yellow rats just keep randomly dancing across my vision; I'm sure it's a sign of the apocalypse, or that I'm quickly descending into lunacy, one of the two.

My right wrist keeps clicking more than usual as it gets used to not slinging about an oversized snooker ball with holes in it; my synuses are bunged up again, and my sore throat keeps trying to make it's way steadily back into the fray.

I'm happy though, must be the meds.
