My god, return to me, salvation

I'd definitely say I'm feeling a lot better, as I just sang and danced my way down the stairs, with a 6 foot drop to downstairs from halfway down the stairs, while singing an Evanescence song, and then performing a few energetic leaps into the living room as I brought the chorus to a climax.

That's showbiz, folks. ;)

With this in mind I should be well for bowling tomorrow, Andreas post-birthday celebration with friends.

I believe the reason for my being so well is the fact that I experienced most of my cold yesterday, expending a lot of energy throughout the day, and becoming burnt out before bedtime, when it hit me fully, but because I'd already gone through most of the motions without really experiencing them in full (due to drugs, ain't they nice?) I'm now getting over it more rapidly as I relax and let my less-than-efficient immune system finish the job off.

Gripes and grapples

Bloody Highlander: Series One DVD's still haven't arrived, tomorrow will be a week since they were ordered; don't you just love prompt deliveries?

Oh well, my cold isn't effecting my computer usage in the least, usually when I get knocked out by a cold, it makes me too groggy to be able to use a computer for long periods of time.

Talking to Andrea via text messaging, and listening to Evanescence (their tunes are heavy enough in context to keep my interest, but melodic enough not to give me a headache at the moment), is really helping a lot as well.

These are a few of my phlegmiest things..

  • Phlegm clogging up throat - free.

  • Intermittant headache - free.

  • Finally getting over cold sweats and having my body temp. back to normal - about 6 hours of bed-cover-tossing.

  • Aniseed sweets to get some sugar and sooth my throat - free off my father.

  • Finally getting out of bed after lying awake and reading a book on my mobile for a few hours - about 2 hours worth of whincing from the bright light on my mobile.

Making it through Andrea's birthday yesterday, and seeing the brilliantly happy looks on her face throughout, without succumbing to a cold: priceless.
