ADSL fly-by[e]
Having ADSL broadband 'net access rawks, most certainly, but I'm finding myself ever-increasingly hitting the boundaries of the bandwidth provided by a home-user ADSL line.
Where's my cheap 2MBit pipe?
Most would say today's processors, memory, and Internet access are more than enough for what most would want to do, however I am not most, most of the things I do on my laptop bring new meaning to the term multitasking, and I'm only just begining now I've got more free time.

Hate it.
Want it to die.
Burn in the pits hell.
Piiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiink, it burns, it burns!
Oh well, not my site, and I read through RSS feed anyway, so only ever see LiveJournal's site template. Mwuhahaha.
Bug-go-round
Okaaaay, perusing Darren's post last night, and considering Andrea's been hit hard by a cold, I'm begining to think I may have acted as a carrier for a bug.
I was begining to come down with something last night, suffering a bad sore throat (not to mention the runny nose I've had since the weekend), but a shitload of vitamins and sleep seem to have belayed it.
Musical merry-go-round
Some thoughts, gleaned from reluctant use of the radio this morning while getting dressed:
Radio stations should never play Madonna's crappy version of "American Pie", without playing the superior original by Don Mclain.
The moment I heard The Bad Touch by The Bloodhound Gang, several years back, I formed two memes in my head:
-
I hated it.
-
It had some interested word play in its lyrics, none the less.
One of these still holds true today; the word play ain't that interesting no more Virginia.
