Okay, I get Twitter, in fact I think I'm quite the addict now, but tumblr?
What the bloody hell?

Someone wake me up when this new 2.0 world becomes useful and not just inanely fun (which can be good, but not in the ridiculous cases we're seeing).

Speaking of Twitter, I've been hacking on twgrowler.py and it's core script twnotifier.py to include Twitter profile picture support, displayed as an icon in the Growl notifications.
It's pretty much working perfectly now, except I can't get the script to stop crapping out after being run as a background process for more than 2 or 3 loops.
Will release patched version when I've fixed this problem, and send the changes back to Aaron Cope.

Next I might add in gnotifier support for Linux, and make a .app bundle for OS X.
