Thoughts for: Thursday 16th June 2005
Birthday shenanigans and loot :: [00:01:23]Had a very nice time with Andrea and my friends last night, and I'd like to think a good time was had by all, although the Chinese restaurant we went to wasn't really that good, the company made up for the fact, thanks all. ;)
And now the list of loot..er..presents.
- Antique gold pocket watch off Andrea, which I think is fantastic as I love pocket watches and compliments the one she got me for our anniversary; I think I'll start collecting them.
- A very nice metallic pen off Andrea's grandparents, which was very nice of them.
- A silver S.O.S. pendant off Andrea's parents and her brother David, which is a lot nicer than my old one which was on the whole a bit crap and I never wore past 3 times.
- A Me-to-You bear saying "I love you THIS much!" and it's arms stretched out wide, off Andrea, yay!
- A chocolate and strawberries cake made by Andrea, which is fantastically delicious.
- 3 of Dan Brown's books off Damian (Andrea bought me The Da Vinci Code a few weeks ago); just have to remember to actually read them.
- The Ruttles off Joff, who knows my taste in comedy very well indeed!
- An HP iPAQ H4350 PocketPC paid for by my father (I got it last week however when a fellow student was selling it cheaply), which is pretty damn nifty and a good replacement for my iPAQ that died about 3 years ago (and also has inbuilt wifi for a bit of warwalking).
- My aunt and cousin were kind enough to drop by and give me the obligatory plastic key (and mug apparently), as well as some cold-hard-cash™ (always good).
- Many, many cards; cheers everyone.
